What is Canalside Energy Park? 

In 2020, the LCLGRPB secured a $99,000 USDA grant for the Warren/ Washington Industrial Development Agency (WWIDA) to develop a site feasibility study for the Canalside Energy Park in Fort Edward. This location is the former PCB dewatering facility. This Plan, completed by Weston and Sampson, outlines the potential future uses of the site and its development constraints. ​The LCLGRPB is now working with the WWIDA to secure funding for upgrades to water, wastewater, and transportation infrastructure. 

Warren Washington Industrial Development 

Hughes Energy has been in contact with the Washington Warren County Industrial Development Agency, demonstrating their interest in purchasing the site formerly known as the PCB Dewatering site, located in Fort Edward, NY since July 2021 (FOIL 2022).
