Biofuel plan raises concern
HALFMOON — A biofuel company seeking to build in a proposed industrial park on Route 146 is getting pushback from environmentalists who say Hughes Energy Group’s autoclave process of taking food and paper garbage to make fiber and pellets will likely emit toxins in the air and water and create products that no one will want.
